Paula Woof is a well known artist who has worked in the city for over twenty-five years. She Has a proud history of inspiring local people- especially young people- to be creative. As a member of the innovative Public Art Collective in the 1980s, she created many high-profile murals on buildings and public spaces around the city. As an individual artist she painted and exhibited scenes from from the old Birmingham markets before they were redeveloped - one of these was purchased by the city for the Lord Mayor's Parlour. Two of her portraits paintings were exhibited in the National Portrait Gallery and she exhibited at the Birmingham Open exhibition at the Gas Hall this year.Along with other Birmingham artists, she has a studio in the Lee Bank Business Centre. Paula continues to work with Birmingham schools.
